Memorial to Jaune, the sweetest Burmese python I have ever known

This was the original information I posted on my website about the dearly departed:
Jaune is my other albino. Her name is pronounced "Joan", from the French word for the color yellow. She is my smallest, but she has the biggest appetite! She weighs 15lbs and is just under 7 feet long. She hatched in 1995. She was the last one at the pet shop, nobody wanted her because she was very snappy. But she came around for me, and now is the most gentle of all my pythons.
I have some very sad news to report about my youngest. Jaune passed away in the night, on May 3rd, 1999.
The circumstances of her death are a mystery to me, as she appeared to be healthy and normal just the day before. After consulting with a vet, I am no closer to understanding the cause of her untimely demise.
Jaune will always remain in my fondest memory as my gentlest Burmese. She was my sweetest pet for the last four years, and I miss her dearly. I hope her soul finds a comfortable spot to bask.
